About the IDFA Online Buyers' Guide

The IDFA Online Buyers' Guide is a user-friendly resource that you will use again and again whenever you are seeking products and services for upcoming projects. The guide doesn't require a "how-to-use" tutorial, but we anticipate buyers and suppliers may have some questions.

Q: What are the criteria for being listed in the IDFA Online Buyers' Guide?

A: Companies that provide products and services to the dairy processing industry are offered the opportunity to be listed in the Buyers' Guide. All IDFA supplier members--Gold Business Partners and Business Partners--are listed. Gold Business Partners are indicated with a Gold Business Partner logo next to their listings. Business Partners are indicated with an IDFA logo. Non-members may also purchase a listing to be included in the buyers' guide.

Q: What are my search options?

A: There are two search options.

1. You can search by typing a keyword in the Search field. This function searches the entire Buyers' Guide for a specific word, whether it's part of a company name, person's name, company description, or product/service. It will also search a company's website for companies with a premier listing.

2. More specifically, you can search for companies by products and services categories, which the companies have chosen to best describe their offerings.

Q: How are my search results determined? In what order are the companies listed?

A: The results are determined by matching the keyword or products and services you choose. The order of the listings is determined as follows:

1. Companies with Premier Listings will appear first, then alphabetically in the following order:

-- Gold Business Partners

-- Business Partners

-- Non-members

2. Companies with Basic Listings will appear next, then alphabetically in the following order:

-- Business Partners

-- Non-members

Q: Other than the company's logo and association membership logo, I see another logo displayed. What does it mean?

A: A company exhibiting at Worldwide Food Expo '09 in Chicago on October 28-31 will have the Worldwide Food Expo logo and booth number displayed. After Expo, a meeting logo will be displayed for companies who are sponsoring a function at the next IDFA event.

Q: What is a featured listing?

A: A featured listing is a rotation among Premier Listings.
